New Look, Same Vision!

Welcome to the reimagined journey of culinary excellence!

You may have noticed that Young Chefs Academy has a fresh new look. As part of our recent rebranding initiative, we’ve retired our previous multi-color scheme and logo for a simple and bold reimagining. But we haven’t changed our core vision and mission to make a positive lasting impact through teaching the joy and value of cooking to youth in our communities!

Out with the old . . .                                         . . . and in with the NEW!

Since opening our doors in 2004, we have honed our broad culinary curriculum to meet students where they are and provide a variety of guided activities that encourage self-discovery and independence through cooking. From our weekly classes for members to our culinary camps, parties. workshops and special events, field trips and group events, every child who puts on a YCA apron is positively impacted in a way that broadens their culinary knowledge, builds their self-esteem, teaches teamwork, increases worldly knowledge, and encourages appreciation for cultural diversity.

We’re not just teaching recipes, we’re inspiring the Next Generation!

As our Founder and CEO, Julie Burleson shares, “From inception, my vision for YCA was so much more than teaching kids the life skill of cooking. I knew we could make a lasting impact on children and families. It’s humbling to see this proven out over the past twenty years, by our students, owners, parents, and beyond. I can’t visit a YCA location without being brought to tears from the personal stories of how YCA has changed lives. Simply put, our brand has grown, the YCA movement is gaining speed ~ and it’s time for our logo and brand to embrace and reflect this. It’s a momentous day to be a part of YCA!”

Beyond teaching kids to cook, YCA has ignited a movement of empowerment and inspiration, where the core values we’ve stood behind at every level of the organization remain an integral part of everything we do today.
